With your wedding approaching, your bridal trial is the perfect moment to refine every detail and ensure you feel calm, confident, and completely ready for your day.
WHAT IS A TRIAL RUN?
WHY IS IT NEEDED?
A trial is a great opportunity for you to meet your wedding makeup and hair artist in person and to discuss and test your perfect wedding look.
Pre-planning before your wedding will eliminate last-minute panic decisions and reduce stress levels. During our trial we will discuss everything in great detail. I will learn about your makeup and hair preferences, together we will look into your inspirational images and, taking in consideration your preferences, I will tailor the look to your features.
Having a trial is an amazing opportunity to meet me in person prior to your wedding day, so you can get to know me better and feel completely relaxed and at ease on your Big Day. I remain friends with many of my clients long after the wedding day.
I HAVE NEVER HAD MAKEUP OR HAIR DONE, I AM WORRIED AS I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT.
As a professional bridal makeup artist and hairstylist in London with over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, I have developed a deep understanding of each client’s individuality, personality, and natural beauty. I am proud to say I can make even the most nervous bride feel completely at ease.
From the very first email to the moment you walk down the aisle, you are in safe and caring hands throughout the entire process. I have worked with brides from all over the world, across many cultures, styles, and backgrounds, which has shaped my intuitive and highly tailored approach to every client.
I will carefully guide you through each step of your bridal hair and makeup journey, ensuring everything feels calm, considered, and seamless.
Your bridal trial is also a beautiful and enjoyable part of the process — a relaxed, creative and collaborative “girly” session where we explore your bridal makeup and hair look together, try different ideas, and refine every detail until it feels completely right for you. It is a space to play, experiment, and bring your vision to life in a calm and enjoyable way.
There is nothing for you to worry about — my role is to take care of every detail so your bridal experience feels effortless, elevated, and entirely personal.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT SUITS ME
Please do not worry, if you do not know what makeup and hair look you would like for your Big Day.
It is very normal to be unsure, especially if you have never had your makeup and hair done professionally before.
I will guide you through every step of our communication so you don't feel lost. I will ask to see your images and also to gather inspirational images of bridal makeup and hair looks that you like. Feel free to browse my bridal makeup and hair galleries for some inspiration. During our trial we will go through everything in a great detail and I will make sure the look we create is exactly the one you have been dreaming of!
WHEN TO ARRANGE A TRIAL?
My advice would be to arrange a trial between one and three months before the wedding date and certainly no longer than three months as this would affect your hair length, coloring or possibly skin tone.
This would be my personal recommendation, however, I would be happy to accommodate any dates requested and would try to facilitate last minute bookings.
HOW LONG DOES A TRIAL TAKE?
The average time for a hair and make-up trial is three to four hours, depending on how detailed your chosen look is and whether additional hair extensions are required.
CAN ANYONE HAVE A TRIAL?
My bridal hair and makeup trials are exclusively reserved for brides as part of my bespoke bridal service. The trial is a special and important part of the bridal journey, allowing us to spend dedicated time together to design and perfect your wedding day look in a relaxed and creative setting.
For bridesmaids and other members of the bridal party, I do not offer trials. Instead, I will create individually tailored hair and makeup looks on the day, ensuring everyone feels polished, confident, and beautifully aligned with the overall bridal vision.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU TO A TRIAL?
Everything that you think matters – hairpiece, favourite lipstick, face cream you can't live without, your veil if it is ready for a trial... anything that will help create the final look as it would be on your wedding day. If you are planning to have hair extensions on your wedding day then I would strongly advise you to bring them too.
If you are unsure of which style of headpiece would be suitable, don't worry. I have a few styles in my studio that we can experiment with to give you options and a clearer picture of which style suits best.
WHAT'S IN MY MAKEUP KIT?
In my kit you will find a great mix of such brands as Charlotte Tilbury, Tom Ford, Lisa Eldridge, Dior, Chanel, Patrick Ta, Anastasia Beverly Hills, YSL, One Size, NARS, Embryolisse, M.A.C and and Estee Lauder.
Individual lashes are provided as a part of the makeup service.
I am fully insured and proudly represented by BECTU Union.
WHERE DOES A TRIAL TAKE PLACE?
Trials are arranged at my home studio in Greenford, West London, UB6.
